Homeschool Day

This event is no longer on sale.

Tuesday November 15

10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Hands-on, standard based programs to get your homeschool students excited about the outdoors! Designed for students ages 4-13 years old, parent or guardian participation required. Learn about the important role birds play in our ecosystem, how to identify birds, and get an up-close look at the eating habits of owls by dissecting an owl pellet! We will also take a bird walk around the garden to practice our identification skills. Some binoculars and field guides are available for use during the class, but if you own we encourage you to bring them!

Program will be held outdoors and indoors. Space is limited & pre-registration is required.
